Brew Lyfe Coffee

In this project, the goal was to create a logo and style guide for Brew Lyfe Coffee, a company deeply rooted in celebrating Black and Brown cultures while promoting all-natural ingredients. The design process aimed to encapsulate the essence of community, culture, and authenticity that Brew Lyfe Coffee stands for. The cup reflects the company's commitment to quality and tradition, while the leaf/bean represents Brew Lyfe’s commitment to naturally sourced ingredients. The style guide harmoniously weaves together earthy tones and logo variations to create a visual identity that resonates with the brand's ethos. Brew Lyfe Coffee's strong emphasis on giving back to its communities is represented through every design element, symbolizing its mission to be a charitable force that uplifts and empowers.

My design process commenced with an in-depth conversation to understand the client’s brand direction and logo requirements. Following this, I forwarded a comprehensive questionnaire to delve deeper into her vision. The next step involved sketching out various concepts, which paved the way for three rounds of refining and iterating multiple designs until we achieved the perfect one.

The Final Logo

Here is the final logo design presentation. It beautifully merges a coffee cup shape crafted from the company's name, adorned with a delicate leaf or bean motif at the pinnacle, symbolizing the essence of natural ingredients. The inclusion of the word 'coffee' at the base not only anchors the design but also pays homage to the profound roots embedded within black and brown communities.

Style Guide

In the concise style guide, you will find essential information on the brand's visual identity. This includes a detailed breakdown of the primary and secondary colors to use, typography guidelines for headers and body text, and variations of the logo for different applications. This guide is used to ensure consistency across all brand materials.
